World Palm Portraits
Photography Competition

World Palm Portraits Photography Competition (WPPPC), an international event which started in 2013, is organised by Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC). The last competition was held in 2017 in conjunction with the centennial celebration of the Malaysian palm oil industry.  Over the years, participation from all over the world increased, especially  from India, Indonesia, Philippines, and even as far as Latvia, US, and Brazil. More than 10,000 submissions have been received since the start of the competition.

WPPPC is now back for the sixth year and is open to both amateur and professional photographers. Participants are expected to capture palm oil and its multitude of applications, as well as the sustainable industry, from their own unique perspectives and viewpoints encompassing high impactfulness, storytelling value, strong creativity, great composition, and technical quality.

The kick-off will be in July 2021 and the official announcement of its first category will be blasted through the official social media of WPPPC; Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
